Experts are sounding the alarm as rates of 17 types of cancer in millennials and Gen X-ers have risen dramatically in recent years, a new study shows. You can now eliminate the old idea that cancer is a disease mainly targeting the elderly because young people are contracting it at a faster rate and many are dying suddenly — and without explanation. Most mainstream reports are not reluctant to say cancer diagnoses are on the rise, and of course, the incentive is to frighten people into early diagnosis and early treatment without getting a second opinion.
